o-txt is a service that lets viewers of your MySpace page send you an SMS without giving away your mobile number. It can also be embedded in websites and blogs. Best of all it is free! Orgoo the company who developed o-txt has been described as a social network on steroids, by Mashable.

what’s compelling about this story is that these tools have been developed by Orgoo, a stealthy service that just put up a preview page. They describe it as: “all your email accounts, IM accounts, social networking accounts, chat, video, news, and more organized and integrated in one interface.” I’ve seen behind the curtain, and I’d call it “Meebo meets Netvibes meets social networking on steroids” - it’s much, much cooler than the holding page suggests. One to watch.

The only problem with this cool new widget is that it seems to be US only, as our mobile phone numbers contain 11 digits and there is only space for 10 digits.
