You can now make your own personal homepage with Google, nothing new of course as Yahoo has My Yahoo and Excite has one and so do some others. However I have tried it out and has some if a little limited customisations. They should build in a RSS reader, mabey like Bloglines, so I can have the news I want on my google homepage.

I have my Gmail on it, Google news, BBC news and Quote of the day. I would like a lot more customisation to be offered with this like the RSS reader and other options. Here is the link. You must have a google account.
