The Playstation 3 is a little out of my league price wise, and so far has no decent games that have grabbed my attention. The XBox 360 has done that for me with the lure of excellent live play courtesy of Halo, Gears of War, Call of Duty and Saints Row. Also coming later in the year is GTA IV. The 360 is cheaper and holds most sway over me, if I do well in my examinations I am going to be asking for a 360 as a reward for all my hard work!

Metal Gear Solid 4 seems to break the boundaries and rules set so far by the two platforms, the graphics are outstanding, the story intriguing and the gameplay with its fresh fully controllable camera is set to be divine! The above trailer is what waiting audiences at E3 were shown this year, the showdown between Raiden and Vamp at the end of the trailer is just sheer class and a mere taster of what a great game MGS4 is shaping up to be.
