Planning For NaNoWriMo
Typed 9th February, 2007 at 11:16 pmI am still intending to go ahead with NaNoWriMo, the fast paced novel writing challenge to write a 50,000 word novel in just one month.
I haven’t set up and concrete ideas down on paper yet, but I am planning to do just that after I complete my GCSE examinations in the summer. I have came up with a few ideas, such as:
- A top ten list in novel format, because everyone likes lists.
- A life story of a child growing through adulthood to death, written from their perspective.
- A collection of stories featuring menstruation. This isn’t really a novel though.
- A sci-fi novel featuring villains and super heroes.
- A novel from the perspective of an animal.
All of the above ideas are wildly different from each other, the only similarity being they are all fiction. I haven’t decided how I am going to approach this but what I do know is that I will have a plan penned out before November and I will not just be “winging it”.
The point of this post is to point out “A guide to writing Well“. A well written (coincidence) article covering how to entertain and enthuse others on your chosen subject. I think I’ll just throw in some pretty pictures and plenty of sarcastic humour!
