RAF worker gets £484k payoff
Typed 29th July, 2007 at 8:58 pmAn RAF worker who attained an RSI (repetitive strain Injury)- style wrist injury received a whopping £484k compensation. To put that into perspective if a Soldier in Iraq got his leg blown off he would receive roughly 9 times less compensation than this. Now I realise why I want to join the RAF. With a compensation scheme this good you would be daft to miss out on a job in the RAF.
Imagine I am a pilot and I get injured whist ejecting because of faulty equipment, I could be set for life. The govenment must be in the wrong here somehow.

Keep up the good work. Only 6.5 hours to go.
You could be set for life…or you could be dead.
