Wolfmother Album Review

Wolfmother are blazing a trail with their breakthrough debut album, which I picked up just last week after enjoying the singles on MTV 2.
The highlight of the album is the single "Woman" with its catchy guitar riff and a chorus packing enough punch to get everyone at live gig head banging and singing along! A close contender to my favorite song is "Apple Tree" to which I find the guitar solo immense and I now listen to that song in the morning to get me motivated for a short school day!
Any self respecting Led Zeppelin fan will no doubt love this album or at least enjoy it, this is classic rock revamped and repackaged for the younger generation. Someone has to re purpose the old just so the kids know what they are missing, because some will not listen to music that is more than to weeks old, because it is "un-cool". Wolfmother have done just that and created a brilliant debut, and a handful of quality singles.
Go and buy it now, you can probably pick it up for around £6 - £7 at your local HMV or record store. If you are into rock, get into Wolfmother!
Overall 22 / 27
